CHANNING TATUM AND JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT JOINING FORCES FOR NEW MUSICAL: Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have signed on to co-star in a new untitled musical comedy. The actors will produce the project along with Wicked's Marc Platt and Adam Siegel. Channing and Joseph previously worked together in 2005's Havoc and the 2008 drama Stop-Loss.

'MACGYVER' MOVIE IN THE WORKS: Lionsgate is developing a movie reboot of MacGyver. The project is in partnership with CBS who will also be bringing the show back to TV. The original show ran for seven seasons on ABC and two TV movies in 1994.

LIZA WEIL SIGNS ON FOR 'GILMORE GIRLS' REBOOT: Paris will be back in the Gilmore Girls reboot. How to Get Away With Murder's Liza Weil has signed on to reprise her role from the original series as Rory's best friend. Shooting begins in L.A. this week.

'INSIDE OUT' EARNS BEST ANIMATED FEATURE AT ANNIE AWARDS: The 43rd Annual Annie Awards were held over the weekend and Pixar's Inside Out was the night's big winner. The movie took the prize for best animated feature as well nine other categories. The only category it lost was best animated effects which went to The Good Dinosaur.

'FIFTY SHADES DARKER' ADDS BELLA HEATHCOTE: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies actress Bella Heathcote has been added to the cast of Fifty Shades Darker. She will be playing a former lover of Christian Grey's named Leila. The movie will hit theaters on February 10, 2017.

Rose McGowan has split from her husband, Davey Detail, after two years of marriage. According to Gossip Cop, they actually split up last May but they reached the two-year mark back in October.

The former Charmed star told the website, "I'm very happy. We are good friends. I had the experience of being married and decided it wasn't for me. I'm super happy! I only wanted to be married for a year and so I did exactly that!" Rose also explained her decision on Twitter writing, "Here's the deal, I only wanted to be married for a short period of time. If I don't conform to other societal norms, why would I have a traditional marriage?"

  • She and Davey got engaged in 2013 and married a few months later in a small ceremony in L.A.

Matt LeBlanc admits that his life got very dark during his break from Hollywood after the end of his Friends spin-off, Joey.

He recently told UK's Mirror that he spent years barely leaving the house after the show ended in 2006 and explained, "I was burnt out. I wanted to not have a schedule, not be somewhere. I was in a position to do that. My agent was bummed. Most actors call their agents and say, 'What's going on?'. I'd call mine and say, 'Please lose my number for a few years.' It was a very dark time. I almost had a nervous breakdown."

  • Matt also revealed that he cut his hair into a Mohawk to try and curb the unwanted attention.

Woody Harrelson wants to get into the weed business. The Associated Press is reporting that he has filed an application to open a medical marijuana dispensary in Hawaii.

The application was filed under Woody's company name, Simple Organic Living. It was one of around 60 applications filed to open up shop in Honolulu County since the state passed a bill last year allowing dispensaries to open. The applications will be reviewed in April and eight will be chosen. Woody will be allowed to open two production centers and two dispensaries if his application is selected.

  • Tetris developer Henk Rogers and Hawaii Stars producer Dirk Fukushima have also filed applications.
  • Hawaii legalized medical marijuana 16 years ago.

Teresa Giudice is free once again. The Bravo star has completed her 44-day house arrest that followed her release from prison in December.

Her lawyer said in a statement on Friday (February 5th,) "As of 9 a.m. this morning, the ankle monitor was removed. She's no longer on home confinement. She's free to come and go as she pleases. Teresa is no longer subject to the parameters of home confinement. She is now free in all aspects from the custodial portion of her sentence. Teresa is very happy about house arrest being over and will spend tonight out to dinner with her family."

  • Teresa tweeted, "Feeling so blessed today xo" which also included the prayer hands emoji.
  • Joe Giudice will start his 41-month sentence next month.

MELANIE GRIFFITH ADVISES AGAINST MARRIAGE: Melanie Griffith is not into the idea marriage anymore now that she has been divorced four times. When asked by Us Weekly about her advice to single women, the Oscar winner responded, "Don't get married. There's no need. You don’t need to get married to have a child anymore...It's not like there's a stigma on a child, and getting married, you either go through the whole bulls**t of a prenuptial, or if you want to get divorced and you don't have a prenuptial, then you wish you had a prenuptial." Melanie finalized her divorce from Antonio Banderas back in December.

ROSE BYRNE IS A MOM: Spy actress Rose Byrne has given birth to her first child with boyfriend Bobby Cannavale. She welcomed a son named Rocco last Monday (February 1st.) Rose and Bobby have been dating since 2012.

BRANDI GLANVILLE BASHES FORMER BRAVO CO-STARS: Brandi Glanville doesn't like to be talked about without having a chance to defend herself. She took some time on her podcast last week to respond to Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump for talking about her on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Brandi told her listeners, "Those bitches are cowards. They're going to talk about people who can't defend themselves because they don't want to talk about each other. So I'm going to address two things that were said about me and then I will have my side out there and they can flock off." She added, "Kyle went on to say that I was the catalyst that ripped her and Kim Richards apart. Yet I was at Monty Brinson's memorial yesterday, and she was not there. Lisa Vanderc**t said that the problem with me is I wanted her all to myself and I didn't want to be friends with anyone else, so I was ruining those relationships, because she's such a prize and I needed to be with her and I couldn't allow her to have other friends. Truth be told is the b**ch doesn't like any of the other ladies at all. She really didn't. She didn't want to be friends with them, but she needed a sidekick, and that was me. I thought you were all things amazing and now I realize that you're not."

LAMAR ODOM GOES ON A HIKE WITH KHLOE AND KIM: Lamar Odom seems to be recovering well. The former NBA tstar took a walk with wife Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian. According to TMZ, sources say that this is the first time Laram has gone outside for exercise ad that he was "extremely impressive" and made it he whole way without any issues.

OPRAH BUYS A HORSE FARM: Oprah bought the farm. E! News is reporting that the media mogul dropped $28 million at an auction for a 23-acre horse farm in Montecito, California. Marty Rogers and Sage Auctions announced in a press release, "Obviously, she is a very smart buyer and does have an amazing vision for this property. She had a number of experts inspect different aspects of the property and paid extensive due diligence to the property package we provided." The property consists of a house with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, a pool, orchards, a fish pond, stables, and acres of farmland.

REPORT: WHOOPI GOLDBERG WANTS OFF 'THE VIEW': Whoopi Goldberg's time on The View may be coming to an end. Page Six is reporting that she is in the final year of her contract and she has made it clear that she is done. One source said, "Whoopi loves the money, but she doesn't want to work so hard anymore. She doesn't come in prepared, she doesn't ¬really engage with other panelists and guests. She gives some one-liners and moves on. Her contract is up at the end of this season, and even if she does renew, it would be for significantly less money."

The Coen brothers couldn't stop Kung Fu Panda 3. The animated movie starring Jack Black held onto the top spot at the weekend box office with $21 million.

This week's new arrivals -- Hail, Caesar!, The Choice, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies -- debuted in second, fifth, and sixth place. Hail, Caesar! actually made $10 million more than Universal had expected. Despite the higher opening, it is still the lowest opening for a wide release of a Coen brother film.

  • The Choice was also the lowest opening for a Nicholas Sparks adaptation.
  • The 5th Wave, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, and Fifty Shades of Black fell out of the top 10.

Ryan Reynolds stands by his decision with Blake Lively to name their daughter James.

He recently appeared on Good Morning Britain where he told host Kate Garraway, "In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I feel like we're not really breaking any new ground here. I mean, I didn't call her Summer Squash Meadowlark, or something." The Deadpool star added, "I also thought of just going with all the letters being silent in her name, so it would just be 'Haa.'"

  • James was born in December of 2014. She was named after Ryan's father who died last October.

The Louisiana Swamp Pop Museum operated by the City of Ville Platte is open to the public every Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos, records, Wall of Fame and hear the music. Admission charge is $3 adults, $2 seniors and $1 for children under 12. The museum is located on Northwest Railroad Avenue.
