Actor John Stamos took to social media over the weekend to voice his disappointment that Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen have decided not to reprise their role of Michelle Tanner on the new Full House reunion series, Fuller House. Full House was one of the more popular sitcoms and Netflix has ordered 13 episodes of the reunion series which will air in 2016.

  • Stamos tweeted, "#heartbroken . . . I understand they're in a different place and I wish them the best . . . I promise you will not be disappointed with our reunion and spin off!!"
  • The 51 year-old actor, who is also serving as a producer on the new show, continued to share his thoughts via Facebook. He wrote, "Just so you reporters know, this is not a money gig for any of us, quite the opposite . . . We want to give the fans what they deserve for supporting us for so many years, we all just want to have fun . . . do it in a classy way on Netflix and have a good time."
  • He added, "Sad that a few don't share the rest of the cast's opinion . . . I can only wish them the best - JS."
  • Following the initial announcement of the show back in April, Mary-Kate Olsen claimed she didn't know anything about it which Stamos denied.
  • Fuller House will focus on the oldest Tanner daughter played by Candace Cameron-Bure who is now a widowed single mother attempting to raise two boys and a newborn in San Francisco.

On Friday, May 22nd, Ireland decided by a vote of 1,201,607 to 734,300 to legalize same-sex marriage. Actor Colin Farrell, who wrote a letter in November supporting the constitutional change, couldn't be happier. The True Detective actor wrote, "Today Ireland has opened up her heart in a way that the whole world will feel. How we have changed our fortune in 24 hours, how we have lit the way, how we have guaranteed a brighter and more loving future for all who call this beautiful land home. Bravo citizens of Ireland."

  • The issue is one that is close to home for Farrell as his brother is gay and was forced to move to Canada to marry his partner. In his November letter, Farrell explained, "My brother Eamon didn't choose to be gay . . . But he was always proud of who he was. Proud and defiant and, of course, provocative. Even when others were casting him out with fists and ridicule and the laughter of pure loathsome derision, he maintained an integrity and dignity that flew in the face of the cruelty that befell him."
