MICHAEL DOUGAS OPENS UP ABOUT MARRIAGE ISSUES: Michael Douglas admits in the new issue of Event magazine that speaking out about his oral sex practices back in 2013 may not have been the best idea. He explained, "It was one of those things...and I so regretted any embarrassment that it caused Catherine. And her family. We had a little bump in the road. The problem in this business is that everything is so public." He also discussed the current status of his marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones after briefly splitting in August 2013 saying, "I love Catherine as much, more than I ever have. And hopefully the feeling's mutual. We worked things out -- if both people want to work something out and make it better, you can do it. You can't do it if it's just one person." Michael and Catherine married in 2000.

REPORT: RUMER WILLIS WAS REJECTED BY VAL CHMERKOVSKIY: There is a rumor circulating that Rumer Willis left the Dancing With the Stars tour over more than just an injury. A source told Radar Online, "Rumer has been upset lately because Val finally told her he won't ever date her. She really likes him and wants to be with him 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is one of the only reasons she went on tour." The insider added, "Val told her that he only wants to be her dance partner and not her boyfriend. He is fine being friends with her, but nothing else."

Elizabeth Berkley is no longer ashamed of her role in the 1995 film, Showgirls. The former Saved By the Bell star attended a screening of the movie in L.A. on Saturday night (June 27th) where she thanked the crowd for helping her come around.

She said, "Tonight is like this magical full-circle moment where I actually didn't get to experience the sweetness of the screening with a crowd that embraced it. I wanted to thank you guys for giving me this gift of truly getting a full-circle moment of experiencing the joy with you because you guys and the love you have for this movie have made this the cult film that it is." Elizabeth also posted a photo from the night on Instagram and wrote, "Such a special full circle moment tonight at a very special screening for 4,000 #showgirls fans!#hollywoodforever When it first came out years ago, the sweetness of a premiere eluded me since it had been met with such disdain and controversy. Amazing how life works in mysterious ways. Thank you for the love you showed me tonight...I'm #grateful it has served you as your guilty pleasure and as your anthem to go after your dreams. Thank you for writing a new chapter to this story..."

  • Elizabeth told Variety back in 2013 that the Showgirls backlash even caused her to quit dancing for a while.

Reports say that the real reason NeNe Leakes is leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta is all because of money. According to TMZ, sources say that the reality star couldn't get the money she was looking for in contract negotiations -- and her sudden departure has left producers scrambling since season eight is set to start taping in the next couple of weeks.

Actress Kim Fields is said to be NeNe's replacement, but producers are worried that NeNe's departure will negatively affect the ratings.

  • NeNe is going to be focusing on some new projects outside of the business, including her own clothing store.
  • NeNe announced the news last night (June 29th) on Instagram, writing, "This is so hard for me to type! I cry as I do so! I am so Grateful for all the love and laughs! Thank you so much to everyone that has watched and supported me over the years on this amazing platform! With lots of thoughts and prayer I've decided to step out on faith and not fear😥 #nomoRHOA4me."

Donald Trump's comments about Mexicans while announcing his bid for a presidential nomination has cost him his job at NBC. The network announced that they will no longer be affiliated with the real estate mogul and won't be airing his shows on any of the NBCUniversal networks.

The statement reads, "At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values. Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump. To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC. In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in The Apprentice on NBC. Celebrity Apprentice is licensed from Mark Burnett's United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue."

  • Trump responded in a statement which read, "If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court. They will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won't stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be."
  • Donald originally said in his speech, "The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else's problems. When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you...they're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
  • NBC's decision comes after Univision announced that they would not air the pageants.
  • Miss USA co-hosts Roselyn Sanchez and Cristian de la Fuente also dropped out of the show along with scheduled performer, J Balvin.

Shia LaBeouf appears to be back to his plagiarizing ways. A clip posted to YouTube and Facebook over the weekend features the 29-year-old doing a freestyle rap that apparently contains lyrics that he took from a rap crew called the Anomolies.

The two-and-a-half minute video includes lines "I'm so underground, rap kids call me Tubman" and "Still breaking down potatoes like I'm f**ing Galileo." Shia also says, "Nah, none of that...Transformers is the dummy rap...I'm so past that." He is accused of lifting the lines, "I reckon you want more of that rare commodity...the quality is what it's gotta be...and my philosophy is much farther than what your eyes can see."

  • Emcee Pri the Honeydark called him out on Instagram writing, "Mr. Shia Labeouf...You are re-activating my Battle MC inner being! You can't rip songs from my ANOMOLIES crew, recite them in a freestyle as your own, get credit for it, then not expect to be called out by ACTUAL MCs! I don't care WHO YOU ARE! There is a respect factor in this REAL MC life & there are levels to this! In the words of my ANOMOLIES Crew member Helixx C., 'WATCH HOW YOU APPROACH DUDE!'"
  • The lyrics were part of a track called "Perfectionist" which Pri claims was written, recorded, and performed by the group back in 1999.

Amy Schumer stands by her jokes no matter who they offend. The Trainwreck star posted a message on Twitter on Sunday (June 28th) as a response to a recent article in The Guardian that accused her of having a blind spot when it comes to race.

Amy wrote, "I will joke about things you like and I will joke about things you aren't comfortable with. And that's ok. Stick with me and trust I am joking. I go in and out of playing an irreverent idiot. That includes making dumb jokes involving race. I enjoy playing the girl who time to time says the dumbest thing possible and playing with race is a thing we are not supposed to do, which is what makes it so fun for comics. You can call it a 'blind spot for racism' or 'lazy' but you are wrong. It is a joke and it is funny. I know that because people laugh at it. Even if you personally did not. I am not going to start joking about safe material. And don't ask that of me." She continued, "I love what I do and won't let anyone take that away. I ask you to resist the urge to pick me apart. Trust me. I am not racist. I am a devout feminist and love of all people. My fight is for all people to be treated equally. So move on to the next person who is more deserving of your scrutiny and not the girl in your corner. Sincerely Amy (a dirty half Jew)"
Amy later tweeted, "I don't have any jokes that deal with race in my standup. I haven't for almost 2 years."

  • The article in The Guardian reads, "Schumer's stand-up repeatedly delves into racial territory tactlessly and with no apparent larger point. Her standup special features jokes like 'Nothing works 100% of the time, except Mexicans' and much of her character's dumb slut persona is predicated on the fact that the men she sleeps with are people of color. 'I used to date Latino guys...' she says in an older stand-up routine. 'Now I prefer consensual.'"

Jeremy Renner doesn't care about the rumors that he is gay.

He addresses the gossip in the new issue of Playboy saying, "I'm not going to try to prove what I am or am not. It's silly, right? When you google yourself and the first thing that comes up is 'Jeremy Renner gay,' it's like, 'Oh, now you've arrived. You're now a giant movie star. I don't care, ultimately, if that's what people want to think, read and care about. F***ing say whatever the hell you want about me." Jeremy goes on to say, "Look at where we're at socially -- leaps and bounds ahead of where we started. That's an amazing thing. To suggest that it's negative, that being gay is a terrible thing, a perversion or whatever -- I just don't get it. Don't you wish we were in a world where we're not shaming, judging and boxing people in?"

  • Jeremy split from his wife, Sonni Pacheco, last year after less than a year of marriage. They have a two-year-old daughter named Ava.

MARVEL PRESIDENT DISCUSSES NEW 'SPIDER-MAN': Marvel President Kevin Feige is revealing some new details about the upcoming Spider-Man reboot starring Tom Holland. He told Birth.Death.Movies, "It's the soap opera in high school, and those supporting characters, that are interesting. Just as we hadn't seen a heist movie in a long time, or a shrinking movie in a long time, we haven’t seen a John Hughes movie in a long time. Not that we can make a John Hughes movie -- only John Hughes could -- but we're inspired by him, and merging that with the superhero genre in a way we haven't done before excites us." Kevin added, "Right now we're interested in seeing villains we haven't seen before." The movie will be released in July of 2017.

NEW LINE NABS 'SANDMAN': The Sandman movie starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been moved from Warner Bros. to New Line along with other projects being developed from Vertigo comics. 20TH CENTURY FOX SIGNS LEE DANIELS: Lee Daniels has inked a development deal with 20th Century Fox Television. The Empire co-creator will develop, write, directs, and supervise new projects. The studio said in a statement, "Lee Daniels has a gift for telling authentic, provocative stories that are both truthful and wildly entertaining. His casting instincts are incredible, whether he is discovering tomorrow's stars or attracting the most accomplished performers to his projects. As a director, he elevates world class material to even greater heights, balancing heart-wrenching poignancy with surprising moments of levity that are over the top and fun. Quite simply, we love working with this inspired storyteller, and this deal is about extending and deepening our relationship."

JOHN SINGLETON'S 'SNOWFALL' ADDS BILLY MAGNUSSEN: Boardwalk Empire alum Billy Magnussen has landed one of the lead roles in John Singleton's upcoming drama series for FX called Snowfall.
