Bernie Lomax lives!Well, sort of: The titular dead guy from 1989's "Weekend at Bernie's" and its equally improbable 1993 sequel, was always a goner. But the man who played him in both films, veteran actor Terry Kiser, is very much alive and kicking. On Friday, Kiser dropped by the TODAY plaza to toast the film's 25th anniversary and hang out with Al Roker, who tweeted about the lively encounter.

The Louisiana Swamp Pop Museum operated by the City of Ville Platte is open to the public every Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Come view the amazing artifacts, photos, records, Wall of Fame and hear the music. Admission charge is $3 adults, $2 seniors and $1 for children under 12. The museum is located on Northwest Railroad Avenue.
