On the positive side, we finally saw moderating temperatures after a very hot summer. We had one day in September where the temperature reached 100 degrees and that was on Sept. 1 where it reached 101 degrees. The coolest day of the month was September 7 where the temperature dropped to 54 degrees.

We had two consecutive days where wind gusted to 32 miles t0 32 miles per hour on Sept. 3 and 4.
