Evangeline Parish School Board Meeting

The Evangeline Parish School Board held its monthly meeting last night.  Superintendent, Toni Hamlin, introduced Mamou High School Principal, Liz Chatlin, who recognized two teachers for their outstanding efforts in the FFA Program and the Oil & Gas Program.  Christina Lejune is the sponsor of the FFA program and introduced: Jacob Fruge, Adam Beaber, Hayden Kidder, and Zac Isreal as the leadership in the program.  She also announced that Fall Forestry has taken 4th place in our area…which includes Oakdale, Kinder and Elizabeth.  Recognition was shown to Adam Beaber and Zac Isreal for achieving State Degrees in FFA; and to Jordan Isreal, a senior, who has received a $3,500.00 FFA scholarship.
