MARK LAYNE 

He has more than 30 years of radio experience, nearly all of it at KVPI. His informative shows feature celebrity birthdays and special spotlights as well as Today in History. You may hear TV show themes and classic commercials during his show as well. Listeners look forward to his impossible questions at 9:15 every morning. Mark is the General Manager at KVPI. In his spare time, he enjoys watching old TV shows and movies and doing research on his family tree. He is married and is the father of a son. Mark hosts the morning show weekdays from 8:00-10:00am.

He has been an optometrist in Ville Platte for the past 48 years and a past KVPI Engineer and Staff Announcer. He also served on the Ville Platte City Council from 1977-1997.
